Why Couldn’t This Have Happened Over A Week Ago? – A sweet remade restaurant in the middle of Hollywood pulls a Luxury Hobo-Night on Mondays. It’s the troublesomely named Cafe Wa s (yes, there’s a space between the “Wa” and the “s”), which features an awesomely bizarre interior and decent French food (I’m still making my mind up on this one).
If you look at the sign at the front of the restaurant where the letters WA S are illuminated – the letters AL Y are not. So basically the sign reads ALWAYS (as in always open.) Even though they are not always open. But yes I concur that the timing on their part was super poor (especially where we are concerned.) But come on 1/2 price liquor served in brown paper bags…you know I’m there.
